Story line:

This martial arts and soaring swords feast revolves around the legendary Jiang River fighters. Brave and noble Xiao Yu is innocently accused of killing the parents of Wu Ji. The latter thirsts for revenge and challenges Xiao Yu to an all-deciding battle. In the course of the ensuing events Wu Ji is persuaded that Xiao Yu was not the one responsible for the deaths of his mother and father. As Xiao Yu knows that Wu Ji besides being a great fighter also pursues virtuous ideals, he helps him search for the real murderer of his parents. During his activities he stumbles into the wayward but good-willed farmer daughter Yu Wenshuang who immediately gets attracted to him. However, Xiao Yu is drawn to long time friend Dou Dou and Zi Yan of the Ming Yue palace also cannot take her eyes off him. What's more, Xiao Yu tries his best to help his new-found friend Wu Ji settle his affairs first. As time goes by, the martial arts skills of the two reach superior degrees.
