Story line:

This drama takes place in 1975 and Ggok Ji is the name of an orphan girl who's mother just passed away. She is 9 years old and goes out to scatter the ashes (her father already died before her mother) when her uncle comes to pay his respects and takes her back to his house, where Ggok Ji's grandfather (her mom's stepdad), grandmother, three uncles, and aunt live. Her first uncle is a teacher at the high school, her second uncle is a policeman, and her 22 year old uncle is STILL a senior in high school. Her oldest uncle is already married, whose aunt thinks of Ggok Ji as her own daughter, because they dont have any children. Well, the grandfather is not the real father of Ok Bun (Ggok Ji's mom) because she was the child of his wife and another man so he was not very nice to her.
