Gamera just enjoyed his 40th anniversary last year, and what better way to celebrate its longevity than another movie! Saving the world since 1965, the giant flying turtle returns to the big screen once more in Gamera the Brave. In the grand tradition of Japanese kaiju, this time Gamera will be facing off against another rival, an enormous people-eating sea monster with sharp teeth and claws and a deadly tongue. The latest Gamera flick will be more grounded in the real world, albeit a real world populated by giant monsters. Directed by Tazaki Ryuta (the Masked Rider films), Gamera the Brave features plenty of exciting monster action set against a touching story about a young boy's relationships with his father and his monster pet.
