2007 Release

With an established restaurant in Kagurazaka, Tokyo as the setting, this comedy which follows the male protagonist as he searches for his father, is full of laughter and tears. Written by famous Japanese screenwriter, Kuramoto Sou, the drama will continue in the comedic vein that characterised his popular family drama, Zenryaku Ofukuro-sama, 31 years ago. The drama also reunites Kuramoto with Ninomiya Kazunari who starred in the previous drama he wrote, Yasashii Jikan.

At the well-established Japanese restaurant Sakashita, in Kagurazaka, the employees are making preparations. Female employee Ritsuko Sakashita (Kayoko KISHIMOTO) says that an apprentice cook will be arriving today. That's when the oh-okami Yumeko Sakashita (Kaoru YACHIGUSA) appears. She tells Ritsuko to pick up the new apprentice. But Ritsuko refuses, saying that she gave him a map, so he will be fine. In this restaurant, Ritsuko is the one who has real power. Soon after, Yukino Tawara (Reiko TAKASHIMA), Ippei's mother and owner of Bar Yukino, comes to the restaurant. After just saying "hello," she heads to Yumeko's room and tells her that Seijiro Kumazawa has been hospitalized. Although Seijiro has retired from politics, he still wields great power. He is important to Yumeko as well as the restaurant. Yumeko tells Yukino not to tell Ritsuko about Seijiro being hospitalized.
