Story line:
2006 Release
The story begins very simply with Yasuko (Kobayashi) and Aki (Tomosaka) who work at an airport. The year is 1996. Aki is a stewardess who happens to be on an ill-fated flight to Nagasaki that day. The co-pilot of the flight also happens to be Yasuko's boyfriend who she just had a big fight with. The passengers on the flight also include a number of unlikely and suspicious characters.

The flight hits some sudden dramatic turbulence (the sort that would scare just about anyone to death), and the pilots see strange sights, the likes of which have never been seen by any man, and a bright light. Gradually the whole plane and everyone on it are sucked into this bright light, which seems to be disintegrating everything it swallows.

The remains of the plane and its passengers are never found, but they are all given up for dead. The family and friends of the victims move on with their lives and time goes by.

But in 1997, a physics professor announces his hypothesis that the plane and its passengers were not harmed at all, but were rather transported ten years into the future through a worm hole. He also announces the exact time and date in 2006 when the plane will land again in Nagasaki. Of course, everyone dismisses this professor as a lunatic and don't pay attention to his crazy theory.
