This is the remake of German film "Knocking on Heaven's door." A 28-year old man Masato are diagnosed as having a fatal disease and becomes hopelessly lost. One day, he meets a 14-year old girl named Harumi at the hospital. She, too, has a limited life expectancy. They decide to take one last trip to the sea, then steal a car.
