Story line:
A.K.A. Ryuuten no ouhi - Saigo no koutei

The story is set in the disquieting time in China in the 1930s. Japanese government has proposed what is called " political marriage " hoping to stabilize the relationship between Japan and China. Hiro played by Takako Tokiwa who is the oldest daughter from the Japanese loyal family has been chosen/arranged to be married off to the younger brother of the last emperor of China. Against Hiro's wish to remain single for life, she went ahead and met his future husband for the first time. What they didn't know will change their life forever.......
