Story line:

Part 1 - Kindaichi was the grandson of a famous detective, and although had an IQ of 180, did not do well in school. He cracked many cases using logic and the leads he could find at the scenes of murder. Although the murderers could be predictable at times, it is interesting to see how he solved the mystery

Part 2 - This is the second TV series of the manga strip. Kindaichi Hajime (Dohmoto), and his good friend Miyuki (Tomosaka) are high school detectives. This show was very popular last summer, it even bested 'Aishiteirutte itte kure' in the ratings. Every week there is a special guest star. The two kid detectives solve all kinds of murders, mysteries, etc.. Fun TV. It's actually pretty good.
