Based on an inspiring true story, Barefoot Gi Bong is a wonderful tale of a man who overcomes the odds to change not only his life, but also the lives of many others in his small rural village! Directed by Kwon Su Gyeong, who co-wrote the script with Kwon Sun Won, the film centers on the title character, Gi Bong, who suffered severe brain damage when he was only a child as a result of a terrible fever.
