Story line:

Think of the visually stunning, mind-boggling special effects of The Matrix. Then think of the graceful, gravity-defying acrobatic martial arts in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Now think of the comical Kung-fu antics of cheesy Hong Kong flicks and the fantastical, preposterous storylines of Japanese comic books.

Add to that strange combination a couple of never-seen-before ingredients, and you get Volcano High(Whasango), the new, long-awaited movie that is all set to present barrier-breaking, untried cinematic entertainment to moviegoers.

The audience is introduced to the main character Kim Kyung-soo in a classroom, where the teacher, discovering that he is not paying attention, throws a piece of chalk at him. To everyone’s astonishment, the chalk spins in midair and spirals back to the teacher, throwing him against the blackboard.

That first scene is enough for the audience to realize that Kyung-soo is not your everyday student. But they haven’t seen anything yet.
