Story line:

Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15 year old high school student with the ability to see ghost, and a shinigami ( Soul Reaper or, literally, "Death God") named Rukia Kuchiki, who crossed paths with him while searching for a hollow (evil spirit.) During the confrontation, she is injured and forced to transfer all of her powers to ichigo. Thus the adventures of Rukia and Ichigo begin. Together they search for hollow and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them on to soul society. The early part of the story focuses mainly on the characters paths than on the shinigami occupation. However, as the story unfolds, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called soul society
