Daisuke Niwa is an ordinary 14 year old boy who has a crush on a pretty classmate of his named Lisa Harada. Not really a smooth talker, he musters all that he's got to try and tell her about his feelings. However, he is just not successful, and when he is disheartened, an ancestral DNA suddenly awakens inside of him, and takes over his body. The ancestor in question was named Dark, a notorious thief from 300 years back. With his transformation, the story takes unexpected turns. Meanwhile, another classsmate of his leads an investigative team in search of Dark the thief, and the boy too has a secret of his own...
